Close to Oslo lies the North Forest,
a vast area of more or less undisturbed wilderness with forest covered
hills, lakes and rivers, offering virtually unlimited
possibilities of hiking during the summer and skiing during the
winter.
If we go a bit further, we can for instance reach
the mountain range Jotunheimen,
about five hours drive from home. The mountains here rise to about
2000 m above sea level, and there are lots of fascinating glaciers.
In the summer of 1990,
Jon & Trine
were at the summit of Mont Blanc!
In the summer of 1994, Sunniva and Tryggve also paid this mountain a visit.
